DS 6.5 Fuel Injection Pump

FSEG offers a full remanufacturing process for 6.5L Diesel engine applications. All injections pumps are fully disassembled and inspected in our ISO / TS16949 driven inspection room. Pumps are then ultrasonically washed, and reassembled to O.E. specs. After assembly 100% of the pumps are calibrated with application specific test stands designed to simulate all engine conditions. Testing software prevents operators from moving on to the next test sequence until adjustments to correct problem has been made. All test specifications are recorded in Lab View to match and archive all serial numbers to that test result. Pumps are scanned in lots for traceability as well as laser etching serial numbers for identification.

6.0 Ford Injector

Injectors for IH applications are available for the 6.0 engine. Injectors are kept in matched sets thru the disassembly process. After cleaning, all injector clearances are measured with precision air gauging to confirm and prevent any fuel leakage pass the critical high pressure components. All air gauge data measurements are retained and stored by serial numbers and date. This step gives peace of mind that catastrophic engine dilution problems cannot occur. After final assembly, all injectors are 100% tested and data is recorded for critical engine application checkpoints, which assures a quality product.

IDM (Injector Driver Module)

Remanufactured Injector Driver Modules for Ford and Navistar 7.3L engines provide added reliability with solutions to common problems. Ford IDM’s, commonly defective due to water intrusion are cleaned, repaired and reassembled using improved sealing methods that eliminate the OE water intrusion problems. All modules are tri-temp tested to ensure accurate and reliable operation.

PMD (Pump Mounted Driver)

A complete redesign and product upgrade was needed for this critical component. This electronic device is mounted on the side of the DS Fuel Injection pumps for the General Motors Diesel applications. Many features were improved upon from the original OE design. Components were changed to adhere to the harsher environments that caused the OE design to fail.
